One Year: A Blogiversary

It's been one year since I published my first post.  I really had no idea what I was doing, and still don't for that matter, but I have managed to fumble my way through and have quite a bit of fun while doing it.  I've received some compliments and some critiques.  I took the constructive criticism into account and in March I gave An Account Of The Middle a whole new look, added an introduction tab, and kept posting.

What I didn't anticipate was how much L and the Girls would enjoy having this blog.  Not only have they had fun on the mini adventures we've had this last year, it pleases them to know they can click through previous post and share our fun or just relive something that we found entertaining.

I like knowing that in years to come, when the Girls become too busy with other endeavors to be my trusty sidekicks, the memories of our past escapades will be readily available. After all that's why I started this blog, to have an account of the middle.  So I'm going to update Have You Met Me? and keep on posting.

Pick A Day...Any Day!

Seventeen years ago this past Sunday L and I were married.

Ten years ago this week L and I got in a fight about which day we were married on.  Yesterday I had the following conversation with my grandmother:

Me:  Hello?

Grandmother:  Happy Anniversary!

Me:  Thanks, but our anniversary was Sunday.

Grandmother:  Today's the 4th.

Me:  We got married on the 2nd.

Grandmother:  Are you sure?

Me:  Pretty sure.

I almost told her to wait and call L tomorrow, that's when he thinks he got married.

Since today is the 5th I guess it's safe to say that by every one's count (mine, the State of Arkansas, my grandmother's, and Larry's) we have now been married 17 years.

If anyone disagrees speak now or forever hold your peace!
