This recipe requires some prep time but it's really worth it. Please note that the walnuts are essential for the success of this recipe, so use the full 2 cups and don't chop them real fine.
Tunnel Of Fudge Cake
Cake
3 1/2 sticks butter, softened
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
6 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
2 1/4 cups self-rising flour, sifted
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 cups walnuts, coursely chopped
Chocolate Glaze
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
3-5 tbs. milk, depending on desired thickness for glaze
Mix butter and sugar in large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Gradually add powdered sugar, blending well. Add sifted flour, unsweetened cocoa, and chopped nuts and mix by hand. Place in a well greased and floured bundt pan and place in 350 degree oven. Bake for 58-62 minutes. Cool cake in pan for 1 hour, invert onto cake plate. Combine glaze ingredients and spoon over cake. Cake needs to be tightly covered when storing.
